What you will see on your statement. Polar Software Inc. sells this to you
as merchant of record: they are the seller on your receipt, and they handle payment, VAT
and sales tax. What appears on your card statement is set in their account settings and is
shown to you on the checkout page before you pay. We license you the software; the receipt
comes from them.
How the licence works
- You pay on Polar's checkout page. We never see your card.
- Polar shows you a licence key.
- You paste the key into the extension and press Activate.
- That is it. No account with us, nothing to sign up for. Polar's checkout asks for an email so it can send the receipt and the key — that is the only address involved.
Prices are in US dollars. Sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies and is collected by Polar.
